Radamel Falcao - Player in review

Radamel Falcao García Zárate commonly known simply as Radamel Falcao or Falcao García in South America is a Colombian who was born on 10 February 1986.
Falcao is considered as the deadliest striker in the world with an amazing ability to score in front of the goal.

Club Career: As a youth he started his career with River Plate in 2001 till 2005 after which he was included in the senior team. He remained with River Plate for 4 years after which he was transferred to Porto in 2009 where he stayed for 2 years. In 2011 Athletico Madrid signed the striker for €40 million, making him the most expensive player in the club's history. On 31 May 2013, Falcao reached an agreement and signed with AS Monaco.
The Goal machine scored 34 goals for River Plate in his 4 year career with them. He scored 41 goals in only 51 matches with FC Porto while 52 goals in only 67 appearances for Athletico Madrid. This brilliant scoring average seems to continue as he already has scored 2 goals for AS Monaco in 3 matches.

International Career: The Colombian international joined his national team in 2007. He has played World Cup qualifiers 2014 and Copa America 2011with his national side apart from friendly matches. In 45 appearances the striker has netted the ball into goal 17 times.
